The Articles of Association The company’s articles of association (AOA), commonly referred to as the Articles, is a legally mandated document that defines the rules and regulations for running the company's internal affairs. This is one of the formal documents required in incorporating a company under the company laws of the UK and other commonwealth countries. Both the AOA and the Memorandum of Association (MOA) together comprise the company’s constitution and is basically equivalent to the Articles of Incorporation in the US, serving to act the company’s by-laws. |

Company directors' responsibilities Shareholders are the owners of limited companies but they don't run them. Running the company is the job reposed on the company’s directors who are chosen by these shareholders. All limited companies are mandated by the Companies Act of 2006 to have at least one (1) director. |

Starting a New Business online
Once you’ve made up your mind on what business to put up, you only need to fill out on online order form in any online formation sites. You can then attached your Articles of Incorporation and Memorandum of Association or fill them out in a pre-formatted online form. The online site will just formalize your formation documents and have them registered in the Companies House. |
